Cemetery Visit
The event was organised by the Royal British Legion together with local councillors. We took 18 year 2 children as they have been studying Remembrance Day as part of History. We took part in a ceremony at the World War Memorial Cross where two children laid a commemorative poppy wreath, then the children went with Councillor Peter Herrington (Chair of Governors) to the World War II memorial garden where they laid a red carnation on each of the 18 memorial plaques to local servicemen and women who had died in WWII.
