On October 13th our traditional Maths Day took place. Year 6 children embraced their role of becoming teachers for the day. As usual lots learning went on throughout the day, but let's not forget the fun!

Maths Day 2016
Another exciting Maths Day took place on Friday October 14th. As last year, children had to come to school wearing a number. So many pupils made such an effort in creating their tops. The day was organised by the two Year 6 classes with their teachers. I am sure everyone was impressed by their outstanding assembly. After that, a small group of the older pupils in the school joined each class from Nursery to Year 5 to teach them songs, games and Maths skills. Well done to all of you for making the day so enjoyable whilst teaching Maths.

On Thursday 1sts October we held a Maths Day to promote the enjoyment of learning. We had to come to school wearing a number. Children from the two Year 6 Classes engaged with their younger peers around the school, teaching them songs, games, dances and maths skills. All the children had an exciting time while learning so much.
